As a Chief Editor at Hagtap, a mobile application start-up, I was responsible for creating engaging content and establishing the brand's social media presence. Hagtap aimed to connect locals and tourists to the best spots for food, drinks, and nightlife in the area they were visiting, allowing them to 'party like a local'. My role was to research, write, and manage content for the app, as well as optimize digital marketing efforts to increase customer engagement and retention.

The challenge for Hagtap was to create an engaging and informative platform that would connect customers with the best venues and restaurants in their area. The company needed to establish its brand presence in a highly competitive industry while providing unique content to entice new customers to use the app. Additionally, with the rise of social media platforms, Hagtap needed to optimize its social media strategy to increase engagement and retain customers.

To establish Hagtap's brand presence, I worked on creating 6-8 original articles weekly covering culture, restaurants, food, and nightlife. This required meeting with business owners, mixologists, and employees of top venues to gather unique insights about their establishment and their offerings. Additionally, I collaborated with interns on research and development of articles to showcase venues and restaurants to new customers.
To maximize engagement and customer retention, I managed and interacted with online communities through social media platforms. By leveraging analytics, I optimized and reduced costs for all digital marketing efforts, including social media advertising and influencer marketing.
